Post-Doctoral Research Fellow – T cell Immunity and Cancer Immunotherapy

Seattle Children’s Research Institute and The University of Washington School of Medicine
Seattle, WA

Laboratory of Dr. Surojit Sarkar is seeking highly motivated post-doctoral fellows to join his energetic and productive research group. The Sarkar Lab is pursuing fundamental research on the mechanisms underlying T cell immunity to acute and chronic pathogens, and cancer. The research program currently lies at the translational interface of immunology aimed at elucidating the mechanistic basis of immunological memory and T cell exhaustion, functional engineering of CAR T cells and discovery of novel immunotherapies to cancer. Located in the heart of the world-class biomedical research cluster in Seattle, the Sarkar laboratory has existing collaborations and synergies with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Benaroya Research Institute and Institute for Systems Biology. Interested candidates are encouraged to directly send an email to Dr. Sarkar with their detailed CV and a list of references.
