Postdoctoral Position

Adaptive Immunity in Allergy
New York University School of Medicine, NY

A postdoctoral position is available in the Allergy and Inflammation laboratory of Dr. Maria
Curotto de Lafaille.

Our laboratory is interested in understanding fundamental aspects of the differentiation of B and T lymphocytes involved in the pathogenesis of allergic diseases. Building on our work on the uniqueness of IgE B cell responses, we want to define the cellular and molecular signatures of B and T lymphocytes that are associated with distinct clinical disease phenotypes. Our laboratory integrates mouse and human studies, and is supported by state of the art facilities for flow cytometry, genomics and imaging at NYU Medical School.

Prospective candidates should hold a PhD or MD/PhD degree in Immunology or closely related field, and have expertise in animal models of diseases, lymphocyte cell culture, flow cytometry and molecular biology. High enthusiasm and ability to work independently
are expected.

Applicants should send curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests, and three professional references to: maria.lafaille@med.nyu.edu
