Jill Roberts Institute for Research in IBD
New York, New York

We are seeking to hire outstanding early, mid-career or senior level tenure-review eligible faculty to become members of the Jill Roberts Institute for Research in Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Weill Cornell Medicine (see: http://robertsinstitute.weill.cornell.edu).

The mission of the Roberts Institute is to establish a multidisciplinary center of excellence that will pursue innovative research to accelerate new scientific discoveries, and enable personalized translational medicine to better prevent and treat inflammatory bowel disease and other chronic inflammatory diseases.

We invite applications from outstanding individuals with research interests relevant to IBD and all other chronic inflammatory diseases. Broad areas of particular interest include the immune system, gastroenterology, the microbiota and chronic inflammation. There are strong interactions with a wide range of independent research groups across Weill Cornell and neighboring institutions, and the position offers exceptional opportunities for interdisciplinary and translational collaborations. Successful applicants will join a group of internationally recognized biomedical researchers covering a wide range of basic and clinical research topics across other research institutes within the College (http://weill.cornell.edu). Applicants must hold a PhD, MD or MD/PhD and should submit a single PDF containing a full academic CV and brief statement of research interests to artisadmin@med.cornell.edu. The first round of reviewing applicants will begin in May 2017. Informal enquiries should be addressed to Dr. David Artis (dartis@med.cornell.edu) or Dr. Julie Magarian Blander (jmblander@med.cornell.edu).
